Georgia O'Keefe

For her last class project Julia participated in the Wax Museum.  Julia was Georgia O'Keefe.  She wore black with a big sun hat.  She copied some of O'Keefe's painting and she wrote and read a little speech for many, many visitors.

Fourth Grade Field Trip

The choice was fishing or hiking and Julia got to fish.  She's wanted to do it for a long, long time.  Unfortunately, she did not catch anything.  Only one of her classmates, Dakota, caught anything.  Still, she had a great time.

Julia learned to fly a kite with just a little bit of guidance from me last Sunday at Comella's birthday party.  Her persistence was AMAZING!

Julia is working on an end of the year project call Wax Museum.  She is presenting a report on Georgia O'Keefe.  She practiced her speech and on Thursday, she participated in a dress rehearsal.

The two pictures behind her are copies of O'Keefe's work that Julia has been working on.
